The use of scroll design as ornamental use is said to have been found as early as 1800 BC in Egyptian style drawings and design. We think of them as being regal, or royal. The design og this metla component is just beautiful. Also, we can't decide which way we like it better....upside right, or upside down. You can decide for yourself which is which!
